Closer Musik
Closer Musik are Chilean Matias Aguayo and German Dirk Leyers. Their music takes the sparse elements of techno, and adds organic layers in the form of simple synth loops, haunting vocals, and guitar. Hamish Anderson described their music as “lo-fi techno” on the sleeve notes of ‘One, Two, Three – No Gravity (Ewan Pearson remixes)' – perhaps their best known release.
Closer Musik split up in 2003, but some releases followed, and their music is still featured on compilation albums and in DJ sets. Both members are still producing music under their own names.
